Matthew Swartz

Matt is the co-founder and leads the Inspection Services division of Ridgeline Performance Solutions LLC based out of Abilene, Texas. Matt has 30+ years of wind industry and renewable energy experience.
Matt began as a field technician in Tehachapi, California in 1989 and has worked as a representative for both asset owner/operator and original equipment manufacturer performing project construction, project operations, project management and equipment manufacturing. He has also worked for a prominent industry independent engineering group performing QA/QC, root cause analysis, specialized inspection, and project performance review.
Matt has operated and managed 12 successful and profitable wind farms, 5 of which he was involved in the development and construction of the projects. He built and managed a turbine manufacturing plant in North America that produced nearly 700 wind turbine generators alongside 60 employees. Matt went on to co-develop and maintain a highly successful inspection services department specializing in quality assurance and control, operational performance reviews, end of warranty and construction monitoring.
Matt is a specialist in project performance, inspection services, quality assurance and quality control. Matt shares the same passion and vison as his partner Dale to perform true preventative maintenance, service, and conditional assessment. We communicate with our client’s risk and opportunity so that they can make informed decisions and maximize their asset performance. We believe that our clients should capture every potential kilowatt available, and if not, understand why, determine the risk, and help provide a solution.
